A large tiny house for an unusual XXL stay
A spacious tiny house for optimum comfort
Your unusual cabin in detail
1 bedroom on mezzanine – 1 double comb bed on ground floor – sleeps 5 (2 adults, 2 children, 1 baby) – 1 bathroom with conventional WC – 1 lounge – 1 private Nordic bath
La cabotte jaune is without doubt the largest tiny house on our estate. With its generous floor space, everyone can feel at home in this original cabin, which awakens the childlike spirit of the grown-ups and arouses the curiosity of the little ones, who love exploring its every nook and cranny. The icing on the cake? The terrace on the first floor, which is revealed behind an adorable mini-door – it’s THE ideal spot to admire the sunset over the vines.
On the ground floor, La cabotte jaune hasa large living area with a lounge and dining area (the table retracts so that it doesn’t take up space during the day, allowing the little ones to play in peace). Vinyl records, board games, books for young and old: everything has been designed to ensure that there’s something for everyone. Also on the ground floor, the bathroom has a large copper shower and a conventional water-closet.

Small house, great adventure: discover our large model tiny house for a break of choice
Eco-responsible construction with a focus on quality materials
Wood, copper, natural ochre-based paints: in our yellow tiny house (as in all our tiny houses ), the materials have been chosen with great care and have all been sourced in France, of course. Everything has been thought out to offer you a top-of-the-range stay that doesn’t ignore ecological issues – quite the opposite, in fact. Built on a trailer by the talented hands of the Cahute team, our yellow cabotte is an all-wood construction with grey cladding that blends in perfectly with the orchard. The black steel roof is designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings. As for the interior layout, the ground floor of the yellow tiny house has a vast living space with a floor area of around 18m2. On the same level is a bathroom with a large copper shower. The light-coloured wood, warm fabrics and light flooding in through the large windows are particularly conducive to relaxation. The tiny house’s cork insulation also provides excellent temperature regulation: in winter, the heat invades this little cocoon, while in summer, it’s easy to bring the temperature down by simply airing it out. In short, an ingenious construction with a bold layout for a cosy holiday.
A unique rooftop terrace for a suspended moment overlooking the vineyards
As you can see, our yellow tiny house has many advantages thanks to its carefully thought-out design. Its comfortable size, with a living area of over 25m2 (a mini studio in fact), its large, light-filled spaces, its adaptability to all situations… but the undisputed trump card of the yellow tiny house is its roof terrace. Tucked away at the top of the Japanese steps (which have a dual function, as they also lead to the bed), this intimate terrace is accessed through a small door that at first glance seems quite mysterious. From up there, you have a bird’s eye view of the vineyards. And because your peace and quiet is priceless, this perched cocoon lets you feel as if you’re cut off from the world. You can read while keeping an eye on your offspring splashing about in the Nordic bath just below. Feeling hungry? Just drop us a line with the order of your choice, and our drinks and appetisers will arrive on a platter.

We like to give our yellow cabotte this nickname: the tribe’s landmark. While it’s perfect for 2 people who want to be comfortable in their home for a night, it has been designed to meet the needs of small and large families wishing to stay with us. With its two double beds and a bed with bars, the yellow tiny house can accommodate up to 5 members of the same family.
It is in a small corner of the living area, next to the double bed on the ground floor. The main bed is upstairs, so everyone has their own privacy. as a guarantee at the time of booking, but it is not debited. Payment is then made on site at checkout by credit card, cash, cheque or holiday vouchers.
You won’t find a kitchen in our tiny houses. We have chosen to give priority to the surface area of the other spaces and offer a range of catering options to enhance your stay, allowing you to let go of all your cares for a total break. As an indication, the cost of a gourmet basket for dinner is €24/adult. Its size can be adapted for a child (€15) – it’s the same menu but in reduced portions.
With its spacious living space and 24/7 access to WiFi and 4G, it’s the ideal place to work.
Absolutely, our meadow is accessible to everyone.
All our tiny houses are equipped with a private Nordic bath, accessible at all times for maximum enjoyment.
As the human approach is at the heart of our project, we make a point of welcoming each guest personally. A member of our team will accompany you to your accommodation and give you the key to your house for the night. We remain at your disposal throughout your stay if you have any questions. If you wish to check out on your own, you can come to reception the evening before and leave the keys on the door when you wish to leave.
Absolutely: whether it’s the exterior cladding or the interior structure, the yellow cabotte is built on a trailer and is all made of wood, with the poplar used for the cladding being produced in France, in the Morvan region close to where we live. All the made-to-measure furniture in this little home is also made of wood, to preserve all the character of this original little dwelling. As well as its characteristic smell, wood provides good insulation to regulate the temperature in all seasons.
For your comfort and to ensure the quality of our service at all times, we have chosen to connect our small houses to the mains (water and electricity). They can therefore no longer be moved. However, the mini-homes remain on a trailer and may be able to find another location in the future (the advantages of mobility :)).
The 4 models all have the same equipment – their differences lie mainly in their structure, architecture and capacity. Slowlife mode activated whether you choose the yellow, blue, red or green. The layout has been designed to adapt to your needs, using quality materials that are eco-responsible from A to Z. The level of finish is the same throughout, and they are all connected to the mains.
For the moment, the project is heading more towards diversification with the launch of 3 new rooms in a few months’ time. They too will be tailor-made to suit your every need, nestling in the oldest houses in the village, with access to our summer garden.
For the moment, no. We love our beautiful Burgundy and prefer to refine the project here.

Amazing place with a spectacular view 🍇. We loved our stay at Les Cabottes. The owners manage it with lots of love and care and you can see this in every detail. We were traveling with a baby and it was ideal to have the dinner and breakfast available as a service. We also loved the cheese platter with good wine. Make sure you walk around in the area. A hidden gem!
